Associate |
- You have less than 12 months coaching experience
- You are able to demonstrate an average monthly fee, paid by clients, of more than US $500 per month
- You have at least 2 existing clients
- You can provide at least 2 client testimonials
- Your Client Questionnaire indicates a Key Result Area average higher than 66%
- Your online exam indicates a result of higher than 66%

- You have greater than 12 months, but less than 2 years, coaching experience
- You are able to demonstrate an average monthly fee, paid by clients, of more than US $750 per month
- You have at least 4 existing clients
- You have coached at least 4 clients, one-on-one, during your Coaching profession
- You can provide at least 4 client testimonials
- Your Client Questionnaire indicates a Key Result Area average higher than 75%
- Your online exam indicates a result of higher than 75%

- You have at least 8 existing clients
- You have coached at least 16 clients, one-on-one, during your Coaching profession
- You can provide at least 8 client testimonials
- Your Client Questionnaire indicates a Key Result Area average higher than 85%
- Your online exam indicates a result of higher than 85%

- You have at least 12 existing clients
- You have coached at least 24 clients, one-on-one, during your Coaching profession

- Your Client Questionnaire indicates a Key Result Area average higher than 85%
- Your online exam indicates a result of higher than 85%

Please note that the IBCI application process is conducted in two stages:
Stage 1: Complete and submit the online application form, together with your annual membership fee.
Stage 2: On receipt of your application you will be sent an online entrance exam. You will have seven days to submit the exam, as well as all supplement material required (including testimonials and coaching tapes).
Once completed, your application will be reviewed by the IBCI membership panel. You will be notified of the result by email.
Each application will be considered individually.
If your application is successful …
You will enter IBCI as an Associate Member, Member, Fellow Member, or Director and receive all associated member benefits.
If your application is not successful …
Your application fee will be refunded. Please note that IBCI will deduct a joining fee of US$75 fee to cover expenses for the review and examination process.
